In a Name

"Stop calling me that!"

Words you expel
with such distaste
as if to condemn
the savagest act.

Such beauty in words -
"Cheerful-of-heart"
May I not speak
the name given you?

For the only other name
that I have for you,
it belongs to one
who used to be you.

Kept trying to guess what "Cheerful-of-heart" would translate to... and kept hitting a wall at "preethi"... which was... err... a bit awkward...
:-D
